This policy explains how PatrolCore handles information in its individual-user websites and applications.
Who we are
PatrolCore provides personal productivity, Field, Report Helper, DUI/SFST, Wallet, Library, and AI tools for individual law-enforcement professionals. Contact: support@patrolcore.net.
Information we process
We process account details, verified email status, your self-attested role and optional organization text, authentication and device signals, personal shift records, encrypted credential identifiers, non-CJI Library documents you upload, pinned AI artifacts, billing entitlement identifiers, and support communications. Precise and continuous location are not collected. Original Report Helper narratives and DUI stop workspaces are encrypted on your device and are not transmitted to or synchronized by PatrolCore.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, synchronize personal records, process subscriptions, deliver reminders you enable, respond to support, detect abuse, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information.
Protected-information boundary
PatrolCore is not an agency system of record. Do not enter CJI, case facts, case numbers, third-party identifiers, incident narratives, VINs, or protected agency information into any server-backed or synchronized feature, including Assistant, Library, Brainbook, Wallet, checklists, feedback, or support. The Report Helper and DUI stop workspace are the only designed exceptions: their original records are encrypted device-local data and are never synced. Library uploads are scanned for malware and prohibited content and fail closed.
AI privacy
General AI requests are privacy-screened before provider submission. For report grading, identifier redaction happens on your device and you must review the redacted preview; only that redacted copy and sources you confirm are submitted. PatrolCore logs usage, tokens, estimated cost, latency, feature, and safety outcome without raw prompts or responses. Conversations are ephemeral; output is stored only when you explicitly pin it. We do not use your content to train public AI models.
Sharing
We use service providers for hosting, private object storage, email, malware scanning, AI inference, push delivery, error monitoring, and billing under service-specific safeguards. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect users and the platform.
Security
We use encrypted transport, private storage, separate encryption keys for personal identifiers and MFA secrets, user-scoped authorization, session and device revocation, optional MFA with recovery codes, encrypted offline storage, and platform-administration audit logging. No system is perfectly secure.
Retention and deletion
We retain server user records while your account is active and as needed for security, billing, and legal obligations. Account deletion removes user records, files, document chunks, pinned AI artifacts, usage associations, devices, and sessions, subject to narrowly required billing or legal records. Device-local Report Helper and DUI records remain under your device's controls; signing out or clearing local user content removes them, and each workspace also has a manual delete action.
Your choices
You can manage profile and notification preferences, export account data, revoke sessions and devices, and delete your account without an agency administrator. Store subscriptions may also need to be canceled through the applicable store.
Children and changes
PatrolCore is intended for adult professionals and is not directed to children under 13. Material policy changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
