Terms of Service

These terms govern individual access to PatrolCore websites and applications.

Agreement

By accessing or using PatrolCore, you agree to these Terms as an individual user. An optional organization name in your profile is unverified and does not create agency endorsement or an agency account.

The service

PatrolCore is a productivity and reference platform. It is not CAD, RMS, dispatch, evidence storage, a legal service, or a substitute for official legal research, current policy, training, supervision, or professional judgment.

Accounts

You must provide accurate account information, verify your email, safeguard credentials, and maintain recovery methods. You are responsible for activity under your account and for revoking devices you no longer control.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, or upload unlawful content. You may not enter CJI, case facts, case numbers, third-party identifiers, incident narratives, VINs, or protected agency information into server-backed or synchronized features. Report Helper narratives and DUI stop workspaces are the limited designed exception: they are encrypted device-local data, never synchronized by PatrolCore, and remain subject to your agency's device, records, and security requirements. PatrolCore is not a CJIS-compliant system of record.

AI and reference content

AI output and editorial summaries are reference-only and may be incomplete or wrong. PatrolCore does not make decisions to arrest, detain, search, seize, charge, or use force. Verify legal material against cited official sources and follow current law, policy, training, supervision, and professional judgment.

Subscriptions and billing

Pro is offered monthly or yearly at the price shown at checkout. Web purchases use Stripe; public mobile purchases use the applicable app store and may be normalized through RevenueCat. Subscriptions renew until canceled. Cancellation takes effect at the paid period end; refunds follow applicable law and processor or store rules.

Your content

User-owned content remains yours. For content you submit to the service, you grant PatrolCore a limited license to host, scan, extract, encrypt, and process it solely to operate and secure the service. Original Report Helper and DUI workspace data is stored on your device and is not licensed or uploaded; a redacted report copy is processed only when you explicitly request grading. Content that violates the server-data rules may be rejected or deleted.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED AS IS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PatrolCore and its suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, data, or goodwill. Aggregate liability is limited to amounts you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for a Terms violation or platform risk. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive termination.

Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by Tennessee law without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law applies. Questions: support@patrolcore.net.
